Brenton Beach House is owned by Derrick Coetzer and Jean Michel Bayle (world motorcycle champion). The guesthouse offers guests warm hospitality and personalized service. We offer golf packages to suit your time while in the region. Derrick has lived in France for over 30 years bringing his language and golfing skills to his guests.

Brenton Beach House**** is a magnificent guest house in a Cape Cod style structure overlooking the Indian Ocean with its long sandy beaches.

We invite you to witness the incessant ballet of dolphins and see the unique spectacle of the whales during the breeding season.

Ideally situated close to the Garden Route town of Knysna, we offer luxurious BB and light self catering accommodation in Brenton-On-Sea, Knysna's only beach resort. We have 1 superior guest suite overlooking the ocean and 4 standard guest rooms with a view onto the tropical garden and pool.

Start your morning with a full, healthy and delicious buffet-breakfast served in the airy dining room or on the deck overlooking the ocean.

Golfers can test their skills on some of the world class courses such as Pezula or Simola within twenty minutes drive. For the non golfers we recommend walking the trails in the nearby forests or horseback riding. Knysna, the South African oyster capital hosts its annual oyster festival in July as well as the Pink Loerie festival.

Knysna offers a water front with good shopping facilities and the opportunity to meet with the local population.

Use our honesty bar for your sundowners or sip a glass of chilled Chardonnay whilst the sun sets over Buffalo Bay.
