Turaco Lodge is owner-run and managed by your hosts, Tony and Danielle. We are ‘people' people so you are always welcomed with enthusiasm and anticipation, and we really look forward to meeting you soon!

Turaco Lodge is a dream come true for us – being able to live amongst the wildlife of southern Africa every day (awesome!), and being able to share this life with so many other people from all over the world (what a privilege!). We have gone to great lengths to be as friendly to our environment as possible, making use of gas for cooking, using chemical-free cleaning materials and recycling our grey water for irrigation.
    
 We see YOU, our guest, arriving at Turaco Lodge on a warm sunny day, excited about your venture into the bush. As you arrive you are warmly greeted with a welcome drink and a porter to take your luggage to your luxuriously appointed room. (If you are planning to fly into the area, we will arrange to collect you from the relevant airport - shuttle cost on request).

If you are making your own way into the Kruger National Park, please let us know in advance so that we can book ahead – KNP limits the number of people allowed in the
Park daily so advance booking is necessary, especially in peak season.
